Their art pulsated as emotional and sense-joyful expression, is basis of intercultural communication and contained high oscillation for the alive with one another.

To her the creative process is a found place, where an interactive dialogue exists between ones own personal liberty and the natural intelligence of the universe. The challenge in the work is to discover through the dynamic movement and energy a transformative resting place. This force expresses the dynamic of love in our global contemporary life.

Petronilla E. H. graduated from the Academy of Social Pedagogic in Passau and received her certification in Traumatic Incident Reduction in the early 90’s after a private study of psychology in Munich. She worked for 10 years as a pedagogic teacher, facilitator and Art Therapist. Mainly under the Network of the Federal Artist Association BBK in Germany she managed Art Projects and Intern. Exchange Programs the last 10 years.

Primarily a self-taught artist, Petronilla E. H. become a guest student 1996-1999 at the the UNS / University of Surakarta following a journey to Indonesia.
There she joined several art classes in fine art (free painting, ceramic and installation ).
Selected modern painting classes in Europe completes her ambition in art and in addition to the asian modern contemporary art .
Under the direction of Professor D Fischer/SV, Erwin Eisch/G, print graphic with Dr. H. Bernhard/A and I. Chválová /CZ Petronilla E. H. confirmed and deepened, supplemented and refined their acquired contemporarily specialized knowledge and their practical conversion.

In 2002 Petronilla E. H. received a grant from the Bavarian State Ministry of Art, Research and Science / Munich for her series IN TOUCH. This grant included a solo show and publication.
Her work EXISTENCE – discovery part 1 Universe-Individuality was also awarded first place at the ABSTRACTA / ART POINT BLACK GALLERY in Florence, Italy 2003.
In 2005 her series EXISTENCE – discovery part 1- Universe-Individuality was selected and supported for a solo exhibit and publication from the Bavarian State Ministry.
InJune of 2006 Petronilla Hohenwarter will be an honored guest in Bulgaria at the International Painting Symposium.
July 2006 Participation at the Symposium MylArt Zvolen Castle / Slovakia.
August 2006 Invitation at the Intern. Art Symposium Kovacova / Slovakia.
October 2006 by Invitation only - Artist in Residency in Singapore supported by www.art-y-fakt.de - Dr. Thomas Manhart.

She has participated in international and national art projects and exhibitions in Singapore, Italy, Germany, Austria, Indonesia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain, Swiss, France, Irland , England.

A dedicated artist, she has worked in the mediums of painting, objects, drawing, installation, digital work to communicate her philosophy of an independent love to a global community.
